Intern team work outside of Stryker
As a part of Stryker's driven and accountable internship program, each year our interns have the opportunity to either lead, and/or participate within a day of service dedicated to giving back to the community. A group of 7-10 interns are chosen to lead their intern class in configuring a volunteer event which themselves and their entire intern class will participate in for a day,
Check out the highlight video from our volunteer event for the summer of 2017 interns below!

Our commitment to people and the planet
At Stryker, we believe the health of the world is as important as the people who live in it. We are committed to making responsible decisions that help people and preserve the planet for future generations.
Our partnership with Operation Smile allows us to advance healthcare through medical education initiatives as well as medical missions that directly serve those in need. Operation Smile is a medical charity that has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate or other facial deformities. As a partner since 1999, we have provided product donations and financial contributions because we share the belief that every child deserves access to safe, effective and timely surgical care and a future filled with hope.
In addition, we sponsor groups of employees as non-medical mission volunteers who provide day-to-day support for families during this critical time. For the most recent trip in January 2017, eight employees traveled to Panskura, India. In support of this mission, we conducted a fundraiser, through which the company matched employee donations dollar for dollar. The campaign raised funding for almost 300 surgeries.
